Bahrain ready to launch Ju-Jitsu development program

A delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain visited the JJIF headquarter in Abu Dhabi and announced to initiate a large scaled development program for Ju-Jitsu under the patronage of H.H. Shaikh Khalid bin Hamdan bin Isa Al-Khalifa.

Jiu-Jitsu Bahrain Federation (JJBF) was invented in Bahrain in the year 2002 from Mr. Reza Monfaredi under the supervision of Bahrain Martial Arts Association (BMAA). Being founding member of Ju-Jitsu Asian Union in 2014.

JJBF Chairman Mr. Ahmed Al Khayyat , JJBF Vice President Omar A.Aziz Bukamal and Sport Director Mr. Reza Monfaredi visited Abu Dhabi to learn about programs of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation and use this “best practice” as example for the Kingdom of Bahrain. Especially the school program shall be implemented as well.

UAEJJF and JJIF Senior Vice President H.E. Abdulmunem Alsayed M. Al Hashmi, pointed out that the achievements and experience are not only for UAE but this belongs to the whole world.

Meeting General Secretary Mr. Fahad Ali AL Shamsi and Dr. Jaffer Al Muthafer the delegation assured to increase the efforts to be active member of Ju-Jitsu International Federation and participate in future in all events.

JJBF Chairman Mr. Ahmed Al Khayyat thanked H.E. Abdulmunem Alsayed M. Al Hashmi for the constructive meeting and is very interested in using the UAEJJF program in Bahrain and like to organize major international competitions in Bahrain as well.
