World Championship 2018

Another remarkable championship in the history of Ju Jitsu has been take place in Baltic Hallen, Malmö, Sweden on 22nd to 25th of November 2018. As JJIF Ju Jitsu goes global, whereabouts 51 countries with 548 competitors has been registered where medals has been spread in 32 countries in the World Championship 2018.

Our unstoppable brave athletes gave their best to make their own exceptional record in the field of our sport and push their self to achieve their desired success in a way of having a fair play in the previous World Championship 2018. First time on World level athletes of Determination participates. These competitors participates in two disciplines of Para-Ju-Jitsu. For all it was a pleasant surprise when the Para-Ju Jitsu athletes showed their uppermost unique performance and prove everyone that they can do what other athletes achieve as well.

For the overall result, France has been taken the top place where they take home 7 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 5 bronze medals followed by Russia with 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 5 bronze medals. While the third placer was taken by the country of Romania 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals followed by the host country Sweden with 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals and the fifth place goes to Belgium garnering 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and  2 bronze medal.

Speaker of the Athletes Commission Ms. Severine Nebie could not win Gold in her category but proved her skills in the mixed team event again. She was awarded as Best Female athlete in Fighting Ju-Jitsu of this event.
